Vos missions

We are delighted to support this caring and highly professional organization in the recruitment of a General Accountant.

Under the supervision of more senior accountants—and later working independently as you gain experience—your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with Financial Controllers;
  • Managing a portfolio of Luxembourg holding/SPV companies;
  • Understanding and overseeing the entire accounting process from A to Z for this portfolio;
  • Preparing minutes of general meetings;
  • Preparing VAT and tax returns;
  • Producing financial statements;
  • Acting as the point of contact for auditors and tax advisors;
  • Handling BCL reporting.

We are currently looking for a General Accountant to strengthen the accounting team.

Working under the supervision of senior accountants at first, you will progressively gain autonomy and take full ownership of a dedicated portfolio.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Closely collaborate with Financial Controllers
  • Manage a portfolio of Luxembourg holding companies / SPVs
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle end-to-end
  • Prepare General Meeting minutes (AGM/EGM minutes)
  • Prepare VAT and tax returns
  • Produce financial statements
  • Act as key contact for auditors and tax advisors
  • Ensure BCL regulatory reporting

Votre profil

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting (experience in a fiduciary firm is an asset)
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP (LUX GAAP)
  • Knowledge of SPVs is a strong advantage
  • Strong IT skills; knowledge of BOB50 is a plus
  • French and level in English
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Autonomous, team-oriented, and humble mindset
  • Strong communication skills
